Flood Level Calculation Program
Changes Rev. date 11-29-2011
- The Westham Gage readings to be used in
calculating flood levels have been limited. The lower level has
been set to 5 ft and the upper level to 28.46 ft.
- Rather than calculating the drop in water
level along Cherokee Road the table now shows the calculated
water level at the Cherokee river properties including a +
tolerance.
- Between a Westham gage reading of 8 ft
and 15 ft the calculated water levels are based on actual
observations. Accuracy is estimated at + 0.1 ft at
5 ft. The accuracy decreases as the gage readings increase
to the max. value of 28.46 ft. At the max. gage reading the
accuracy is estimated at + 1 ft.
- The river flow as a function of Westham
gage reading has been corrected. Even though not important for
water level calculations it is a a piece of trivia.
- An expanded flood map covering all of
Cherokee Road within the HH community (from the city line to Old
Gun Road East).
